Hey Food Lovers! Ok so I wrote on my tidbits page last week that I would upload the recipe I found for Wood Ear mushrooms. Before trying this recipe, I was eating a lot of dishes with Button, Portobello, Shiitake and Oyster mushrooms. After subscribing to ChineseHealthyCook on youtube for a Dried Shrimp recipe, I came across a video for the Wood Ear Recipe. It calls for the dried ones and you must soak them for 20 or more minutes. It was worth the try and I love the texture. The texture kind of reminds me of chicken skin or pork. Not that I miss eating that stuff, this gives you an idea of what it feels like 🙂 Now that taste is bland and this recipe only uses salt and white pepper powder but I’m sure you health nuts and vegans know how to spice it up to your taste. I liked it just as is. The green onion and white pepper powder was good enough for me. Ok ok, I added a lil Soy sauce LOL! Let’s Grub
