Hey there! I know it’s Monday and we are usually thinking about pizza on Thursday or Friday right. Well I woke up thinking about pizza this morning for some reason and thought I would share a recipe I tried recently. I was looking for an alternative pizza crust and heard that cauliflower makes a great one. That’s when I found NutristaNutrition on YouTube Her video was entertaining as well. I love when videos are entertaining and get right to the point!
After viewing the video, I realized I did not have the proper tools I needed but it turned out great. It just took me longer. As suggested in the video, do not shred the cauliflower with a hand grater…OUCH my wrists! I did not have a food processor, I was cooking at a friend’s house. Thanks a lot friend.
Cauliflower is a great way to go because it’s healthier and gluten-free!
This is what I used for my toppings:
– 3 cups homemade pizza sauce
– 1/2 white onion thinly sliced
– one tomato sliced
– several slices of turkey pastrami
– one green pepper finely sliced
– 1/5 cup cilantro
– 2 1/5 cups of Mozzerella
