For Pizza Lovers! Cauliflower Crust

Hey there!  I know it’s Monday and we are usually thinking about pizza on Thursday or Friday right.  Well I woke up thinking about pizza this morning for some reason and thought I would share a recipe I tried recently.  I was looking for an alternative pizza crust and heard that cauliflower makes a great one.  That’s when I found NutristaNutrition on YouTube   Her video was entertaining as well.  I love when videos are entertaining and get right to the point!

After viewing the video, I realized I did not have the proper tools I needed but it turned out great.  It just took me longer.  As suggested in the video, do not shred the cauliflower with a hand grater…OUCH my wrists!  I did not have a food processor, I was cooking at a friend’s house.  Thanks a lot friend.

Cauliflower is a great way to go because it’s healthier and gluten-free!

This is what I used for my toppings:

– 3 cups homemade pizza sauce

– 1/2 white onion thinly sliced

– one tomato sliced

– several slices of turkey pastrami

– one green pepper finely sliced

– 1/5 cup cilantro

– 2 1/5 cups of Mozzerella

Hello and welcome to my blog. If you love to eat and you love good healthy food, you have come to the right place! Every now and then I will post some of my original recipes too or just talk about a dish. Either way, we are going to have some fun!  Lets start off with one of my favorites.

Gordon Ramsay is one great chef I have been following for some time.  I did not feed into his behavior much on Hell’s kitchen but the way he prepares a meal is so well done, you crave the thought of what it taste like.  That’s why I had to try this dish.  The sticky lemon chicken came out sweet and spicy.  So good and comes right off the bone.  The aroma enticed my sense of smell and exploded my taste buds   It’s hard to not over eat so cook with moderate proportions   The left overs are not as good as when it first comes out the pan.  See ya on the next blog…Lets Grub!
