I love hummus! I am surely going to take the time to make my own but Sabra will do now. One summer day, I was thinking of what I wanted to eat and for some reason hummus came to mind. I didn’t want hummus and baked pita chips for dinner so I decided to turn this into a festive occasion! I read that hummus contains vitamins, minerals and amino acids. I didn’t know chickpeas were so tasty. Chopping up all kinds of veggies is fun and everyone enjoyed this happy feast. Lets Grub!
What I used:
Toppings
- 1 carrot shredded
- 1/4 cabbage thinly sliced
- 1 tomato thinly sliced
- 1/2 red onion thinly sliced
- 1 zucchini thinly sliced
- your favorite salsa
Tortillas
- pack of small tortillas
- 1 container of Sabra’s roasted red pepper hummus
- 4 TBSP canola oil
— fill each tortilla with the desired amount of hummus but keep away from the edges and roll them up. Heat up a pan on medium heat then add oil. Fry the stuffed tortilla with the folded side down first. Fry each side until golden brown. Drain fried tortilla on a paper towel. Place on a plate and add your toppings. Lastly top with your favorite salsa. Slice up your dish and enjoy!
See you next time!
