Spinach – The functional leaf
According to Nutrition and You spinach is recognized as one of the funtional foods for its nutritional, antioxidants and anti-cancer constituents. I truly love Spinach in soup or on a sandwich but it took me some time to eat it y as a salad because I was use to the crunchy texture of Romaine lettuce. I don’t wanna grow up to look like Popeye because I’m a girl but I sure do love how it helps me function 🙂
